Have you ever thought of frying banana? there are some dishes which prepared with banana but along with some other ingredients and Today I am posting a recipe Pan fried banana with honey & vanilla topping.I saw this recipe in one of the food blogs, I found it is very easy and a different dish.Fortunately I had banana in home and instantly tried this recipe, when I started to fry banana in pan I was tempted with the smell and I had a piece of banana before finishing the cooking. Banana along with honey and vanilla extract just think about the combination..Woowww...I am sure this recipe will get you an appreciation from the one who is gonna taste this.
Carrot Halwa is a traditional Punjabi dish. I don't know why but my mom never made this is in home, so i tasted this in buffets along with Ice cream and it tastes awesome. I liked it very much but I never thought of preparing it in home. Here in Sweden they are selling large amount of root vegetables ( like beet root, potato, carrots, turnip) and frequently they are giving offers on these vegetables but a single pack contains 2 Kg to 5 Kg of vegetables not less than that. Now you can guess why most of my posted recipes are related to carrot :). Yes I always have more than a Kg of carrots in my kitchen, I thought of finishing it soon and so comes the delicious recipe Carrot Halwa, I prepared this for the first time along with my neighbors and we had it hot hot during day time chit chat. ( I know it is very hot summer in India, but here in Sweden it is just a 3 degree) Yeah of course DH surprised to see a new recipe when he is back from office ;)

Sweets/Desserts who says NO to this? It plays a vital role in Indian Cuisine. There are many sweet dishes available in Indian Cuisine. One among those is Halwa, this can be prepared with fruits, vegetables , Corn flour, Maida, Wheat flour and also with Bread. I already tried preparing this dish with some fruits and vegetables.
One of my neighbor / friend prepared and offered Bread Halwa few days ago, that is the first time I had Bread Halwa and I liked it very much. I thought of giving it a try, my friend prepared it with maida bread but only wheat bread was available in my kitchen so I tried with that, and it came out very well with different taste. Sri returned back from office and very much surprised to see a new recipe :)
One of my most favorite dessert. I always ask my mom to prepare this for me. I love the combination of Semiya and Milk, it tastes too good.I prepared this for the first time and came out very well same as how my mom prepares.
