Vinayagar Chathurthi, the first thing which comes to our mind is Kozhukattai :). Lord Ganesha's Favorite dish, not only for him Kozhukattai is most of our favorite dish. You may think, this is not Ganesha festival season then why she is talking about Kozhukattai.Yes, In many homes they prepare Kozhukattai only on Vinayagar Chathurthi day.But my mom prepares Kaara (Spicy) Kozhukattai as breakfast recipe on normal days and serves it with coconut chutney,it tastes very good.
I added few more ingredients with Kara(spicy) Kozhukattai recipe and prepared Masala Kozhukattai, the aroma, flavor and taste was too good.We had this Kozhukattai as tea time snack So I didn't prepare any chutney. But you can have this for breakfast along with coconut chutney.
